I like the idea of a list for redesigning the Perl community and I vote in favor of perl6-community; however, I don't think it addresses the original thread, where various people wanted to discuss whether or not there should be a requirement on Perl to be able to obscure code. I still think that's a policy issue. Some people think there should be a requirement for a feature to obscure; some people think there should be a requirement that it never have such a feature, some people think all source code should be distributed with any encoding of such, and some people think Watney's Red Barrel is real beer.
