Hello Perl developers, The recent news about Perl6 were very exciting, and as a happy Perl user for a few years, I feel compelled to give something back to our community. Previously, I have been shying away from poking around the Perl5 source code for reasons I am sure you all know very well. I hope this all changes with Perl6, and I would like to get involved from the beginning this time. I guess my question is "what can a guy like me contribute to Perl?" I am a hardware designer by profession, but I have a decent programming experience, and am willing to put in some time and effort. It might be a little bit too early, at this stage, to think about details like these, but I would appreciate it if someone could outline very briefly the strategy behind Perl6's development and how people like me can contribute. Thanks, --AlaThread Next
