Hello, As far as I understood after reading the docs about placeholders in sql commands, that the benefit gained is only for that specific process. I was wondering would it be possible to compile all the sql statements at server startup. That way all users will get the benefits .I use apache+mod_perl and keep persistent db connections started from an apache perl script ThanksThread Next
