FYI, trying to run pp (PAR 0.959) from the My Documents directory (Windows XP Pro, ActiveState Perl build 819) fails with this output: C:\Documents and Settings\steven\My Documents>pp -e "1" Error in tempfile() using ppXXXXX.pl: Parent directory (.) is not writable at c:/Perl/site/lib/PAR/Packer.pm line 304 Maybe there would be a similar problem trying to work in a Linux home directory? And my email spell checker points out that "writable" is not a correct spelling ;-) Steven
