If that was satisfactory, I have a refinement of it that I'd like to
try next time.  (I don't have another bug already lined up to report,
but it's a good bet that I'll find another sometime in the next month.)
I'd like to put in MIME headers explicitly stating text/plain, but with a
comment in the header about the mislabelling.  That's perfectly standards
conforming, and should be handled correctly as text/plain by all MUAs,
but it's very unusual to have a comment in that particular header,
so it's something to try out before considering the process finalised.
The motivation for the comment is that the header (or, as it happened,
the lack of header) was a place I looked for clue about the expected
format of emailed bug reports.

Once we're settled on a procedure, I'll provide a patch for perlbug.
